  1. Can I sell any auto insurance carrier with EZBuy? You may sell a carrier who has approved of the EZBuy process and is a “Participating” EZBuy carrier. However, all producers must have an existing producer agreement in force and in good standing with a carrier in order to use EZBuy for that carrier. 

     

  1. Are there any special procedures I need to learn before using EZBuy? Selling insurance with EZBuy is pretty much business as usual for the producer. That’s because the producer rates and binds coverage using the same methods that they have always used in the past. However, there are a few simple steps that the producer will need to know so that they can properly instruct the customer on how to use EZBuy.

     

  1. What makes buying insurance through EZBuy different than buying insurance the old fashioned way? One word…CONVENIENCE! The customer can buy their insurance from any computer with internet access and as long as they can receive their email. The customer does not have to drive to a producer’s office or use a fax machine. A sale that use to take 1-1 1/2 hours (including drive time) takes only 10-15 minutes to complete with EZBuy.

     

  1. Is EZBuy expensive for a producer to use? Not really. There is a modest monthly maintenance and user fee. Also, there is a “per transaction” fee that you only pay if you are making sales.
